Job Description:
As a Certified Payroll Assistant, you will support our existing Certified Payroll Administrator with anything from reporting, scanning and data entry, while getting trained on more advanced payroll processes.
Other duties may be assigned as needed.
The ideal candidate will be interested in a long-term position with Western Concrete.
Responsibilities:
Assist with weekly payroll reporting to ensure compliance and accuracy-online and manual files Enter, organize and keep record of weekly reports and fund contributions.
Organize, scan, email and fax documents required for government jobs/prevailing wage projects.
Review payroll hours & wage rates OCIP/CCIP/UCIP project specific enrollments, calculations and monthly payroll reporting.
Assist subcontractors with the same.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in administrative services or other related fields Construction administration background or Certified Payroll experience a plus Ability to multitask, prioritize, and organize efficiently.
Meet time-sensitive deadlines and communicate status to management in a timely manner.
Sense of urgency and a willing to attitude Attention to detail.
Computer literacy, comfortable with computers, accounting software, spreadsheet software and other financial computer application Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Ability to deal with a high-volume environment.
Effectively work as part of a team and maintain positive relationships with co-workers.
