Job OverviewShowroom sales representatives are responsible for working with both retail clients and industry professionals to promote the Bedrosians product line and gain business.
You must uphold our high standards of customer service and demonstrate professionalism at all times.
You are responsible for educating clients on our products and providing appropriate suggestions and solutions.
You are responsible for communicating all company and manufacturer recommendations and warnings for product application and installation.
You are responsible for communicating with your clients during every aspect of the sale to ensure their satisfaction.
DutiesGreet and assist clients with selections and follow-through on their ordersPromote the Bedrosians product lineGain knowledge of all current and new product linesDevelop relationships with industry professionals to increase business Enter orders, follow-up on back-orders, invoice orders, and follow proper pick-up procedures Maintain a neat and organized workspace Assist with conducting inventory countsMaintain showroom and sample department organization and presentationPrepare and deliver bank deposits if requiredReview on order report dailyMeet monthly sales quotas Multitask and prioritize work through effective time managementWork cooperatively in team environmentParticipate in weekly branch meetingsWrite thank-you notes to clients Upsell clients when possibleFocus on increasing sales to meet branch sales planWork within the framework of the company's defined policies, procedures, goals and directives.
Any other duties required of the position Please note:
in some of our smaller locations, there may be a crossover of duties among Warehouse Associate, Customer Service, and/or Showroom Sales Representative positions.
These crossover duties may include but are not limited to:
Gain knowledge of all current and new product linesEnter orders, follow-up on back-orders, invoice orders, and follow proper pick-up proceduresFollow proper pulling, packing, strapping, staging, unloading, shipping and receiving protocolComply with all safety policies and protocolsMinimum QualificationsCollege Degree or equivalent Design Degree preferred1-2 years of retail sales or customer service experienceFriendly and outgoing personalityPositive attitudeExcellent Computer skillsExcellent and professional phone skillsExcellent verbal and written English communication skillsSelf-motivated and proactive-willing to take the extra step!Excellent understanding of design and colorPossess a flexible work scheduleAbility to lift up to 50 lbs.
Prior experience in the tile and stone industry is a plusDesign experience is a plus Bi-lingual in Spanish is a plusCompany OverviewIn 1948, Bedrosians began providing tile and setting materials to contractors and builders in Central California.
