html I purchased this truck in November of 2014, the engine blew on the day after I bought it, so I had it towed to Hot Rods & Custom Stuff in Escondido, this shop has built vehicles that have won the Ridler Award and compete in many top shows across the US.
I had them install the new crate motor, exhaust and Vintage AC, along with some other minor things that needed addressing, including painting the grill & bumper black.
The original build was done by a gentleman from Hemet in his garage, a frame-off resto that was very meticulous, all wiring is hidden and ran through the frame or tucked away.
He also relocated the gas tank and created the hidden gas door behind the marker light on the rear drivers side fender.
Another custom touch is that he redesigned the outer door handles, just a button and 2 finger pull.
After the engine install was finished, I drove the truck to Schott Performance Wheels in Los Alamitos CA, the truck was measured for the custom rims (Offset, Backspacing, Center Bore, etc.
).
The rims were then manufactured to the exact specs for this truck.
The truck runs and drives awesome, has more than enough power for daily driving and can cruise on the highway 80+, AC blowing cold w/o any issue.
The gauge cluster, speedo & odometer stopped working, but I do have a new in box Dakota Digital gauge cluster (see pics).
It may not be a 6 figure truck right now but, I believe with a few more modifications (4 link, posi, coil overs) it could easily get there.
I have a 2 page certified Appraisal Report from HRCS.
I do not need any help selling the truck.
Low Ball offers will not be answered.
